I've recently purchased two GLORIA EXERCITVS coins with double-struck obverses. Both double strikes have left the bust with two eyes; one struck on top of the other.

The Delmatius also has an extra set of lips and some double striking on the NOB in the obverse legend.

The Constantine I has a more pronounced double strike with the eyes, on the lower bust and the right side of the legend.

I am not certain of the mint for the Constantine. I'm not sure if the second letter is a mis-shapen S or an S with a line through it. Somewhere in the back of my mind I think I have seen an S with a line through it, but I could be all wrong about it.

Anyway, they are two nice ancient mint errors.

Paul, very nice and beautifully unique. I've bid on a few double strikes, but still haven't landed one yet. Congrats

Interesting coins with the doubling only on the obv. Thx for posting.

P.S. The portraits sorta look like flounders.

Very cool double strikes! I agree - flounders were the first thing in my mind!

Thank you, Victor. That looks like it is a match.

I think the CO is weakly struck, as is the G in GLORIA, and is not there under the dirt.
