Double-Struck Delmatius And Constantine I Gloria Exercitvs Ae-3/4s

Paul Bulgerin Pillar of the Community United States 3098 Posts	Posted 06/15/2020 4:23 pm I've recently purchased two GLORIA EXERCITVS coins with double-struck obverses. Both double strikes have left the bust with two eyes; one struck on top of the other. The Delmatius also has an extra set of lips and some double striking on the NOB in the obverse legend. The Constantine I has a more pronounced double strike with the eyes, on the lower bust and the right side of the legend. I am not certain of the mint for the Constantine. I'm not sure if the second letter is a mis-shapen S or an S with a line through it. Somewhere in the back of my mind I think I have seen an S with a line through it, but I could be all wrong about it. Anyway, they are two nice ancient mint errors.
