Put a penny beside it for comparison, it can't possibly be 1.5mm, and 15mm is small but not tiny.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

If the number inside the imperial orb is a 3, then this should be a Dreier I think.

:Yes, and thanks greatly. I was able to find a match from Brunswick-Lunebert-Calenberg with the hard to see JF monogram dividing the date. Very glad it was nearer the front of the German states
