Smaller Than Normal 2004 P Jefferson Peace Nickel Is This An Error Coin?

Most of the coins I have found I can find a comparison online but for this one I can't find anything. I don't know if this is an error or just outside damage. The reduced size and thick rim shows that it's Post Mint Damage. Do a search for the terms and you'll see images of this kind of damage. commems CCF Master Historian of USA Commemoratives United States 12295 Posts	Posted 08/12/2020 10:48 am Yep, the thickened rim and the fact that the rim has been pushed much closer to the inscriptions and portrait is a very good indicator that the coin was manipulated after it left the Mint.
