I seen some pieces, seem to be thicker than the Netherlands 2½ Gulden - Wilhelmina 1929 to 1940 ones which are 2.5mm thick. The 1943 pcs I saw in the shop is 2.6mm to 2.7mm depending on which spot I measured. Otherwise weight is 25g and diameter 38mm. Report this Post to the Staff

Albert Pillar of the Community United States 1915 Posts	Posted 08/20/2020 2:41 pm Some numbers: Thickness 2mm genuine, 2.7mm fake Diameter 38mm both genuine and fake Weight 25.06grams genuine and 19 grams fake Edge lettered genuine, reeded fake Some fakes attracted to magnet while a genuine coin is diamagnetic. Genuine is coin aligned, fakes can be medal aligned. Not totally certain and fakes may vary from my numbers. I notice there is no mark under her neck but I think the genuine coin should have one. Albert Pillar of the Community United States 1915 Posts	Posted 08/20/2020 7:53 pm I don't often suggest good or fake based on pictures, but I'll say the devices on the coin look shallow lacking well defined edges. Doesn't look like a coin struck in silver with steel dies. The edges appear flat as if to blend with the field and lack the look of sharply raised metal from being struck with a steel die.
