I just got this coin and it looks like it has been cleaned with a lot of hairline scratches. It is very shinny, I dont kniw if it been polished with anything. Wondering what was did to it and will it worth to be grading? It does have VAM of the double legs. Thanks in advance!

just for your info. shiny coins do not mean original coins. looks closely at the surfaces of the coin and scratches over both sides. unless a coin is rare collectors, for the most part, would not have much interest unless they have a hole to fill in their collection and use it to fill that hole until they can find something better.

someone decided to make the coin shiny by using something very harsh that destroyed any collector value. there are many ways that people attempt to clean coins some easy to see and some not so easy.
