1879 S Morgan For Your Grading Consideration

This is one of my favorite coins. It is more impressive in hand - images don't do this one justice. The obverse is a flashy purple blue color. The marks on the cheek are surface brushes, they are not deep marks. What do you think it would grade? BTW it is also an S/S which is kind of cool. Thanks in advance.

I'll say MS-64 with an outside shot at MS-65. Very nice!

would like to see photos without as much glare which would help determine surface originality as well as the color. a little weak for a 79(S) in the strike department. MS64

Agree. Surface detail is almost impossible to evaluate in these pics.

love the color , hard to say what I am missing as far as marks. if true to photo id guess 64

I'll go with MS64 based on your description of the obverse. There are some pretty examples of '79-s out there...

I'm leaning towards MS-64 but photos with more lighting would help.

Can't really tell from these photos. Somewhere in the 62 to 64 range.
