Well Guys as they say
"He who laughs LAST, laughs BEST."
We ain't laughing yet, but OUR battle with MGreen3481 is far from over.
But taking him from one government sponsored home, and putting him in another one, doesn't really constitute a victory in my eyes. Whether we can do that or not, remains to be seen. But I guarantee you, we will never see the coins again, and getting our money back, well - "you can't get blood out of a rock"
Our REAL problem lies with the STUPIDITY OF
ebay.
WHEN A CUSTOMER ADMITTEDLY RECEIVED THEIR PRODUCT(S), AND WAS EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH IT/THEM;
ebay SHOULD NOT MAKE THE SELLER REFUND THE BUYER, BECAUSE IT WAS DELIVERED WITHOUT TRACKING.
ebay has a place to help us with THEFT, FRAUD, SCAMS, and THREATS, etc. Spoof
@ebay.com
I explained to them EXACTLY what MGreen was doing in an email, and suggested where to look, to verify what is happening.
Their reply was a CUT-AND-PASTE - Dear You, YES! that's how they replied! (DEAR YOU!) - we take "Identity Theft Very Seriously And We Will Be Looking Into The Matter!" It was a long report, - all about how to avoid IDENTITY THEFT. They WOULD NOT be replying to me individually but assured me that the matter would be handled professionally!
I replied with a derogatory message to "READ MY EMAIL!".
Reply: We take all issues of identity theft very seriously, and we assure you, that we have been working diligently on your behalf.
As we all know, Covid19 was started with one person, but it has become a pandemic, affecting every person on this planet, and putting many stores "out of business" No one knows who that first person was, but we do know it spread very rapidly, because it wasn't handled very well.
Is this the next pandemic? Is it safe to sell on
ebay? Will stores go out of business if this spreads? Will there be other MGreen's using
ebay as a conduit to steal from the sellers?
Question - Food for thought: MGreen 'nailed some of the bigger companies in the Canadian coin industry. (My business is tiny compared to them.)
Do you think that maybe they might not have refunded MGreen, if they had their own web-site?
(YES I RECEIVED THE COIN, BUT I"M GOING TO GET A REFUND TOO!)
Do you think that some of those dealers MIGHT start their own web-site and put a little note in their
ebay account.
PLEASE VISIT US AT - COINS ARE US - sometimes the prices MAY be lower.
Could they use
ebay's customer flow to advertise their own website? Would their prices actually be lower, if they didn't have to pay
ebay's sales fees?
Maybe one lesson we have ALL learned from this is: DO NOT SHIP 3 or 4 (MID-PRICED) COINS ORDERED SEPARATELY IN TWO WEEKS. THAT"S A RED FLAG TO ME NOW.
Personally I have lost about 150 dollars, but hey, I've spent more that that on some worthless educational courses in the past.
My problem is- I'm TOO "_____" OLD, to make up the 150. For you younger guys/gals, - think about it this way:
Have you ever spent $150 on a date, and never even got a kiss?
Well personally, I feel after "this date" with MGreen, we got off lucky, that there was no kiss involved.
