2021 Peace And Morgan Dollars!

I'm still waiting for my O and CC coins. was sent the tracking info on 10/25/21....



EDIT: Need to add that the USPS is still waiting for the package. The mint or it's crony's (their delivery folks) have not gone and moved it at all.

I sent an e-mail to the Mint asking when they were going to put my order in the mail. I also used the messaging tab on their website. I really don't expect any response. Probably just

For something like this it's better to call. The CSR may be able to get the ball rolling as far as having someone look into it where an email or message may just be ignored. Hopefully they're in the carrier's possession and they just missed scans. I've had that happen before.

Sorry to those who still haven't got these. Coin News reported last week US Mint sales of the CC 170,266; O 170,522; D 173,829, S 173,824; Phil. 171,594; Peace 195,810. So the Mint still has some to ship I assume with 175K, 200K mintages. Just speculation on my part but they may release unsolds/returns later, suddenly some will be available. But this may not happen til all orders are filled and the Mint responds as they said they would to complaints of damaged coins and return deadline.

I have the day off and, after putting Old Glory out on the flag stand, I decided to get a real look at the recent Morgan / Peace acquisitions. I have one each of the CC & O, two each of the D and S, and was able to get three each of the P and Peace thanks to a non-collector friend who was ordering for me. I sold one of the Peace dollars (at cost) to a fellow club member who was unable to purchase one.

Every one of my examples appears to be problem-free with the exception of one P-mint Morgan. There is a very faint hairline scratch or planchet defect in the field ahead of Liberty's nose. It took a lot of looking and rotating to find it, but it's there. They all are suffering from black snow on the outside of the capsules from the chintzy packaging. All in all, I'm happy with the group.

Edit: I meant to provide details about the packaging as well. All of the items arrives intact, capsules in place with the exception of the CC coin - it was in the capsule but loose inside the black box. The inadequate wrapping should have caused more problems, but all is well. I received these 12 coins in a total of 8 packages. CC arrived first, then a box with one D & S, another box the next day with another D & S, one P Morgan arrived next, then the O privy, then 2 Peace dollars, a lone Peace, and then the last two P-Mints.

I put an inquiry in and they submitted one without asking me first. It cancelled the order that has been sitting in limbo since Oct 24th. They then said they would refund my money on the order and I can select the "Remind me" option if I want to re-order. What a bunch of idiots. I plan to call them tomorrow - that will probably take all day.
