Why was there such a demand in the first place for the Silver coin
Was it because it was a proof coin? not a fan of the proof coins
Only real reason I ordered one was due to the 2020 date as I am doing a basic 2020 set to remember this crazy year

Because they are on ebay already for $1000-1200 Also, not letting people complete a purchase because they can't remove the sold-out gold coin ... that's ...

Ya darn toontin' I filled it out! Oh, how cathartic that was.
I made good use of the text boxes. I usually leave those blank or fill in the bare minimum one or three words, but this time I maxed them out. Yeah, I made sure to copy "Oops...Something went wrong" into almost every text box I could, and made it clear I was a repeat customer and did/could not make a purchase today.

Had a gold in my bag, at checkout it said "invalid card" even though it was correct. Tried to checkout repeatedly until finally I got the "an item in your bad is no longer available" or something like that.
Thought I got the silver but I just checked the order acknowledgement email and clicked on the order number and this is what I see: Internal Error The server encountered an internal error that prevented it from fulfilling this request.
So did I miss out?
On hold with the mint, in my account it still says it's processed, so this error may be just to view status of the shipment.

Every other time, I ordered from the mint, it used my UK billing address with my brother's US shipping address. For this order when I got the order confirmation, it has the US shipping address but the billing address is my brother's US address with my name rather than my UK billing address. It was correct before I hit submit but crashed right when I submitted the order.
Will the US mint bounce my order because of this?

@jason - any idea how anyone has graded versions of this coin to sell? They release some to grading companies early I guess? Wonder how many were pre-graded...

@silverstash no coins pre graded a ton of ebay dealers just pre sell stuff then send off some small/large lot of them to get graded

I had the gold in my cart and clicked on the final check out step. Of course it timed out and then by the time the page loaded again it was sold out. Never really thought I had a chance of getting it, but I wonder what is worse. Getting that far before the wheel of death or getting the wheel of death before it ever got in my cart?

Just got a confirmation email for the silver. So I scored big but in the minor leagues. Would it be worth slabbing? Quote: Getting that far before the wheel of death or getting the wheel of death before it ever got in my cart? I would have rather never gotten to the check out phase - I keep thinking that I did something wrong - because I got the invalid card error.

I tried for 40 minutes. Would get to the final submit order and then would get kicked out. Annoying. That's the breaks I guess.
