On the "perfect" 70 coin look just to the right of the last "A" in America and you will see a small dash which could be debris or a flaw. Just below it, by the period, is another similar one.
If these two "flaws" are in-fact on the coin, and not on the holder, then this coin would not be a "70".

I don't know if that's a light issue or some sort of reflection trick due to the camera angle, but there's nothing on the coin itself in that area you mention. I did get the scratch resistant holder, so that may explain if there's an issue with the reflection causing that.

I sort of regret sending in the two v75 eagles and $25 gold coin in for grading. PCGS is unbelievably slow. My order was received 11/24 at the express service level which they say takes 5 days and it's still processing.
Edit - just checked the website and it now says 10 business days for express. So I am on day 9. What are the odds it will get shipped back out in the next day or two? I say low.....

Just got the email from NGC that they received my submission that arrived on the 24th. They must have got flooded with these around the same time mine arrived. Looks like I won't be getting my submission back til 2021.

Why some sell coins in the shipping box without opening it ? isn't it better to open it?

Chronos: From a practical standpoint, it allows you to send the coin to PCGS to be given First Strike designation at anytime as long as it's still in the original shipping box sealed.
The other motivation is if you sell it, buyers pay a slightly higher premium because then they know it hasn't been "cherry picked" and potentially being sold only because it's been rejected as something less than a 69 or 70.

Biggest issue with selling a coin unopened (I know as it happened to some one I know really closely) is that the buyer can claim the box was empty and you are out of money. This is the latest scam on ebay. As ebay sides with the buyer, it's a worry.

Does this mean I can still submit my 75th ASE for First Strike label? It's still in the unopened box from the mint. The way PCGS website reads even if unopened it needs to be received before the cutoff of 12/7/20 for First Strike. https://www.PCGS.com/firststrike

misit - it reads that it needs to be received by cutoff if opened, but if unopened the postmark needs to be prior to cutoff date even if you mail after cutoff date. Correct me if I am wrong anyone...

In other news, my v75 Gold finally made it to PCGS's encapsulation stage, grades not available, but today a PR67 appeared in the population. So I am praying that's not mine LOL

The way PCGS website reads even if unopened it needs to be received before the cutoff of 12/7/20 for First Strike. Option 2: "Submit the coins in the original unopened shipping box from the U.S. Mint with a postmark date prior to the specified PCGS cutoff date." In other words, the coin has to be sent to PCGS sealed/unopened in the original mint shipping box (put that in another box when shipping) with the postmark from when the mint originally sent it to the buyer being before the cutoff date. Example: An coin has a cutoff for First Strike designation of December 31, 2019. If you submit it with your shipping box post marked on or before 12/31/19, you're eligible. However, you send them say July 1, 2020 and still receive First Strike if the coin is still in it's unopened shipping box and the mint's shipping box is postmarked on or before 12/31/19. If you send the coin in after that day and it's not in the original shipping box and is just the coin itself, you won't be eligible for FS.
