10 bucks from one bank yielded 9 wheaties, about my average for 10 bucks worth next bank 10 bucks worth 10 wheaties 40's and 50's common except for the 47 S and 54 S I needed for my collection also got a 45 S War Nickel I needed pretty good day of searching for me once again |

I'm out of my 4 month slump! I found a 1948 S wheat. Also, in a nickel roll, I found a buffalo! My first ever!

Lucky, I'm jealous! you guys get a wheatie every other roll, and I get one in 7-10 rolls!  Still, its the thrill thats the fun part. |

I found 6 wheaties from 10 rolls yesterday! Including a 1920-S!! One roll had two wheaties and a 2009 LP4!

That is a tough avg. I am on the mid Atlantic coast and avg 1 every 4 rolls. Where are you located? I keep waiting for the avg to drop with all the Wheats being pulled but the number stays consistent.

just brought home a bag of pennies and peeking out at me when I cut it open was a 1904 indian head.first one of the year for me.later greg

Hey Jim! I'm in Northern Indiana. I find lots of wheats here,mostly 1940's and 1950's though.One plus for me, I got 5 gals at the bank that look for wheaties for me!

I check them each time my boss goes to the bank

Jim, I live in ND. Hopefully my averages will get better. Whether I do rolls or bags though, my averages stay the same (or worse) |

Found 2 1972 doubled dies. I think they are both the 1972P-1DO-008 variety. First ones I have found in the 72 variety, so pretty exciting to find 2 in my copper pile.

Hello,
I received a 1948 P - full red in nice condition in change from a fast food restaurant a couple days ago. It has one little spot where there was some dirt and its no longer red, but I almost didn't look at it as it looked so new. The date is nothing special, but it is the best wheat I ever saw in circulation.
