Picked this one up several months ago. Later stage, and by weight, this is either 1980 or 1981. A few more whacks and this die cap would lose the ability to create a mirror brockage. Not an easy one to photograph...

Looks like a fin on the obverse.
What causes this?
Is it just the extra pressure of two coins in the chamber or ?
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

I suspect so, excess metal squeezed above the collar die.
