New RPM Or Die Chip? Jefferson Nickel 1969-D D/D North

Good evening, I reviewed my Nickels under a microscope and flagged this RPM? I researched at Variety Vista for 1969-D, and there was no entry. Please take a look at these pictures and if you have any ideas which of these is a 2nd or 3rd secondary mint mark, that would help.

Looks a bit like the V.V 1968-D RPM-003 D/D/D Southeast, Serifs.

I need to make a side by side to be sure yet.

Title says 1968-D, thread show 1969-D. Which is it? The location is not even close for the 1968-D RPM-003. It looks like the wider shot, it is a 1969-D nickel. Just checked Wexler and V.V for RPMs on the 1969-D and none for V.V and only one for Wexler, and it is not a match for your coin.

Thanks @coop, its a 1969-D 5C.

How can someone eliminate the possibility that an RPM is not a well placed die chip?

Is that just such an edge case, you really need to go a coin by coin examination?

On an FB forum, someone unexpectedly stated this was not an RPM but a die chip.

A RPM follows the design of the punch. A chip imitates the void in the die.
