The '32-D quarter really stands out here. Not only as by far the most modern but also by far in the best condition. Assuming it is genuine the quarter alone could be worth well over $300.

Let us know what the LCS says. Just a thought,if at least one of the coins are worth $150+,you might want to send the set...intact to ANACS.Let them open the set and grade the coins for you. John1

Please use them in the future. ***First of all it is NOT a set of anything . Why pay ANACS or any other TPG 60 bucks or so for special handling to crack out the coins . This isn't rocket science ! Also the LCS would want the coins in hand , OUT of the plastic to give a qualified Professional opinion .

I'd bet that case will come apart by unmessing with it. It looks like the glue is just on the outside. You may as well open it up to weigh the coins--they sure look genuine to me! ADDENDUM: The autocorrect function is not letting me post my suggestion. I think you should take a small tool and turn the screws in the corners to open the case up.

A 3/8" drill bit should do the trick, simply drill out the superglued plastic screws.

Why destroy the case? It is part of the find and actually may add some value - otherwise all you have is a handful of coins with an unproven story of how they were found.
EDIT: I'm thinking more of keeping it intact to preserve the sentimental value of the find instead of tearing it apart just for the monetary value of the coins. But everybody is different in their thinking.

Sorry--I didn't realize the screws were glued in place. To me, the case adds no value, especially in that condition, and the coins need to be out of the case to confirm that they are genuine and to properly grade them.
