There ya go! Tell her you wanna take her and the kids to see the museums and the historical monuments and that it's a "business trip".
On a related note of business, it might be a bit more than you wanna spend, but I have a 1891 Quarter NGC MS-61 you might like. I would give it to you for a good price.

We were on vacation in Cali. As I did all the driving, I somehow accidently typed in 2 coin shops into Navigation. My wife was surprised when we turned left in San Diego when we were staying in La Jolla. I wasn't This is an "upgrade" to my Mercury dime. Not many extra points, but also not much money. I also picked up another coin from Grape, with the last 2 I'm at 78 and 10 coins to go.

Ha! Good for you!
A day without fine wine and working on your coin collection is like a day without sunshine! My collecting "Pride & Joy" is my PCGS Registry Dansco 7070 Set: https://www.PCGS.com/setregistry/ty...edset/213996

@Numised Quote: Is there a Registry Battle going on between Hfjacinto, WineSteven, Ty2020b and GrapeCollects? Sadly if there was a competition I would have lost even before I started Comparing my collection the other 3 is like comparing a graffiti painting to the masters (Michaelangelo, Renoir, Picasso and Van Gohe). I'm doing my set in slabs as a comparable set in an album wouldn't be cost effective as you well know that we can sometimes buy details coins without knowing it. But in the end I'm proud of my set and I like the coins I picked. So it's not a masterpiece but it is something that I accomplished. Winesteven once said to me that he believes I get as much joy in my set as he does in his and I actually agree. I do enjoy my set (although if doing it again I would have liked to have done it a Dansco also, just not as high quality).

@HF. "Accidental" surrreeeee. Just like I " accidentally"took the route that led us through CO Springs to hit the ANA museum on our road trip to Boulder last month!!! . Nice pickup! Sets looking great @NumisEd..I'd love to have the funds to be able to afford a #1 registry set. Not to have a #1 registry set, but to be able to own such amazing coins. That said, I'm perfectly content finishing wherever I happen to end up, at the end of the day, registry is irrelevant.. can thank Grape and KYCopper for even getting me started doing a registry . @NumisEd I've gotten equal enjoyment from watching your set and all of the above mentioned members sets evolve! And thanks to you I finally have a Whitman 20th century type album on its way to tackle in between the too-many-to-list other sets I'm "completing"

As noted, our wonderful hobby is all about having fun, learning, making positive relationships, learning, deriving joy from the hunt and acquisitions, and learning (I intentionally mentioned "learning" several times, as that NEVER ends). Whether you partake in the deep end of the pool, or are just working on any album filling the holes only with pocket change, the same level of joy and fun and learning can (and should) be experienced. Quote: Is there a Registry Battle going on between Hfjacinto, WineSteven, Ty2020b and GrapeCollects? We're all actually competing in different categories. HFJ is doing the Basic US Type Set (No Gold), Steven is doing the Dansco7070, Ty is doing Buffalo nickels (All Dates and Mints with Major Varities), and I'm doing full US Type Set 1793-Date (Excluding the 1792 Half Disme). Not much of a battle when we're competing on different subjects. There's also a few other differences. My type set is circulation strikes only, meaning there are no proofs except for proof only types (example being silver Statehood Quarters). HFJ and Steven both have proofs in their sets. I do intend to eventually do a 1838-Date Proof Type Set, but I'd like to keep the business strikes and proofs separate.

Quote: Thanks to Grape, I am now at 78 with exactly 10 coins to go. I'll start a countdown with the next coin. Today's coin is an 1891 25 cents, with beautiful edge toning. If this was the replacement Grape's upgrade must be WOW Glad you like it! It's actually very nice for the grade, even in CAC didn't agree. The toning hides most of the bagmarks except in specific lighting. While this goes to show toning can hide things, it does greatly improve the eye appeal to the coin. My upgrade is this coin below, a PCGS MS-63+ CAC. I was originally looking for a 65, maybe a 64, but I loved the toning on this one too much to pass.
