Today we get 2 coins.

Quote:
The first is a silver 50 cent.
A good start.

Quote:
The 2nd, I had gone to the local coin shop to get the 2021 ASE, while there I had some cash so instead of getting the ASE I picked up a dime. Its not only the oldest dime I own, its the oldest US coin I own.
Boom! Well done.

Today's pictures are the small cents. I had posted all of these before, but they are now part of my virtual 7070.
Good to see these again.

And while not part of the Virtual 7070, if Dansco adds the latest coins to the series, I have them but they are in Anacs slabs.
Excellent!

1945 on the LWC. Very nice. Was there any reason you chose that year or was it just the first you found in the condition you wanted?

Yep, I know, I may replace it. I only picked it up as first there is no way that should be a PF 69 and 2 how did a proof cent like that get out of the mint?

No reason for the date, although now that I think about it, that was my mom and dad's birth year. I got it because of cost and condition.

Today will be the last pictures until I get a new coin. I do have a 5 cent shield that I ordered a few days ago but has been traveling around the state. As of 1/19 I'm at 145 and 56% complete. Not bad, like I stated my goal is to get to the top 100 (which looks doable) and be at 100% complete.

Some of these have been posted but here are quarters. Thanks for looking.

Sadly not all coins are MS, today's is my oldest US coin. Its darker than I like but it had more details than the other 3 that the LCS had. It was between this one and a more worn VF35 with a CAC sticker. I ended up picking this one as it had less wear.

With this one and the one I'm posting tomorrow I am now 57% complete and at 142.

Nice. She's a beauty nonetheless. MS or not.

She should date Ben, they make a good couple

This is a good coin in my opinion to break out and "conserve", I think she looks much better, but the toning is hiding a lot of the beauty.
