Looks misaligned and possibly double struck. Lincoln's coat looks like its doubled on the collar. Maybe abraded and retouched nose. There are errors here I just need help with identification. Thanks for any info

Hopefully someone else here can help more than me, because all I'm seeing normal circulation wear, a fingerprint, and Ridge Ring.

Thanks Spence. Can you see the error on the nose? Abraded and retouched? Also looks like there maybe letters in the Ridge Ring. Maybe not but the first pic shows something with the bridge of the nose

Sorry but that nose looks pretty normal to me--hopefully others will weigh in to get you a more complete answer.

Added: I think that I see what you mean about the eye, but is there any chance of getting a sharp pic of that area? Thx.

No problem. I'll try to get close up on the eye in focus. I was just reading about abrasion in this area the other day and happened to find this. I'll try to find that picture

Thanks John1. DDD is a possibility but how about the bridge of the nose. I'm trying to get better at identifying errors so I'm guessing reingraving of the die or something like that

John is right. Also the doubled eye is MD, very common actually.

Not seeing anything else.

Understandable. It took me awhile, over a year. The more time you spend on the forum the more your knowledge will grow.

Thanks SilverCents. I can tell most the known doubled dies pretty well but I get confused on md and DDD too often. I got this back in change the other day and thought it was a little off. The search continues
