Hi All Just got this 1914 D Lincoln Cent off ebay. Would like your opinion if it is genuine or fake. Seems to have all the right markers.     Let me know what you think. Thank You |

The mint mark position and font look correct to me. I would say probably genuine.

I bought mine raw, for what that is worth, so no foul there. It looks good to me. I prefer to see it in hand, but I trust your eyes on it.  Quote:

The mint mark is punched below the tail of the 9 in all known varieties, which is always a good reference point.

Looks OK to me but sure has seen better days. As to a complete set, do you include the 22 Plain, 55 & 72 & 95 Doubled dies? What about all the 2009's? And of course all the 82's, 60's, 70's, etc.? Some Albums have places for some of those and others may not. I wonder if the many other types and/or varieties will ever be added to Albums.
