Both are 1943s pennys, could anyone tell me if worth anything and maybe how much? Grandson is losing interest fast in coin looking because of shortages of coins and need some conformation that he really did find something of value, please help!
Are these not the same Retained Cud's you inquired about earlier? If they are different, then the values would be the same. Still worth more than a regular steel cent.
A common steel cent--hint of rust stains and light circulation, and no other irregularity like a doubled die, dramatic die crack, Retained Cud, etc.--would be worth 10-20 cents in a bin of steel cents at a local coin shop. Value might vary some, but that's about it. With the Retained Cud, someone who collects Retained Cuds might offer a few $ for one...might.
