Durwood Valued Member United States 68 Posts	Posted 01/31/2021 8:04 pm RedMP1972, hold a Lincoln Shield cent with the shield facing you with your thumb nail between the I and T in united, slowly turn the coin over without moving your thumbnail and look what is on the "heads" side of the coin. As you would see is that if there was an E, there would be an "E" on the "heads" side where your thumb nail is. Can you see what I mean? Also the "E" would be backwards.
