At different angles this shows up. Toothpick doesn't do anything to it. Sorry I can only get it to show up ok on camera with different lighting. It just looked different with raised portion that looks like a leach in that darker picture. I looked at several 97 of mine and yes it is the design that year but they're all nice n smooth. That area is part of the fields, deep into the ear and can also show fine die scratches on that area as well. (The outside of the die, are where the fields are.
