Also a die crack or scratch on obverse. Are the spots in the obverse environmental exposure or some kind of liquid?   Edited by Emaroots23

That is a Die Crack on the obverse and a nice Cud on the reverse. I don' t think that is environmental damage. The discolouration might come off with an acetone soaking |

Yup, that is indeed a Cud, and a nice crack to go with it. Those spots might come off with an acetone soak. This is very worthy of a 2x2 as well. |

Looks a little different than CU-25c-2005P-01R(OR), which is the only one for the Oregon Quarters that I see on cuds-on-coins. Definitely worth putting in a 2x2.

Nice Cud, read up on using acetone and then put it in a 2x2 and remember to flatten the staples. John1  |

I always make sure I flatten the staples. Do any of you use certain boxes to keep your 2x2s in? Like a shoe box or anything around the house?

That's a beaut! Looks like it might clean up nicely.
I use coin boxes specifically designed for 2x2s. They are kinda pricey when you remember it is just a box, but worth it IMO and you only have to buy a set once (well at my level anyway). I really like to be organized.

Very cool find! I use binders/albums for storing my 2x2s. Zipper shut binder for the good stuff.
