Curious if you decided to call it good? I did not crack my 75 proof set but obtained the non-bicentennial coins in the set individually, and cracked the 76 set for the Kennedy. But if there is info on a "75 Type I" Kennedy, then I must crack a 75 set, I think. BTW, this is the best detailed reference showing the Dansco pages in a reasonable resolution. All bicentennial Kennedy half dollars are the same whether minted in 1975 or 1976. Only the Ike has two bicentennial varieties (aka Type 1 reverse, Type 2 reverse). The 1975 sets have variety 1, the 1976 sets have variety 2. Thanks Muddler, I keep 2 collections - one in Dansco albums All are complete, but I'm working on some of them and upgrading the coins to all BU grades. The other are all in Mint OGP dating back to 1950 to present. In Silver Proofs, Clad Proofs, and uncirculated. Collecting since 1972. Learning from then on "Tell me and I forget.
