First my subscription disappeared.
I finally got my order through but it failed on the final submission 6-7 times.

Logged in at five minutes before release. It took three times for the "I am a human" click box to go through but got one. Is this box a new mint anti bot feature? I haven't ordered from the mint for several months. Printed the order but no email confirmation yet.

I didn't have to click any boxes or press and hold to prove I wasn't a bot. I haven't had those or the Captcha thing ever on any orders, even the morgans. I wonder why some get it and some don't. I did have page errors 4-5 times on final confirmation and each time had to go back to the cart and start checkout over again, select payment (no paypal available, again).

Just saw an article on CoinWeek from Nov. 2020 about the US Mint using Captcha, apparently they are still working on it.

So they sold 300k of these in 18 minutes with a HHL of 3?! This doesn't bode well for the next Morgan releases.  Edited by CelticKnot

This doesn't bode well for the next Morgan releases. Certainly doesn't. The remaining Morgan's, Peace and two coin RP set are going to be a repeat of the first Morgan. |

Sometimes you just have to laugh... I signed-up for a reminder on the Type 2 ASE. Luckily, I didn't need it, because my text message came 10 minutes after the coin sold out (12:28 EDT). I guess I didn't realize I signed-up for a reminder that I missed the sale start. |

If you look back at the mint's sales history over the last ten, twenty or even thirty years, one thing is clear. The number of collectors has been trending down. Either there has been an upturn in the number of collectors or a drastic number of new speculators have entered the market. I believe it's the latter and it's going to be fun to watch them lose their money.
