Is This An Error? 1964 Nickel

Hey all! When I first joined this forum I had let's say a tad bit of interest in coins - I would check them out by eye if they looked a certain way I would keep it. Now I have all kinds of loops/magnifiers/lights..... And I check every single coin I come by - I'm hooked, constantly looking at coins or reading about them. I was looking at this 1964 nickel (I compared a few others from same mint same year) and I noticed in the word pluribus the I and the b are joined together on the bottom of the I and b..... Was wondering if this is an error or greased die or what it could be

Just checked the bay and it looks like it is part of the normal design.

I agree. The usual design and maybe some die wear. My earlier die states don't have this to that extent. The later ones do.
