I have this 1993 Canada dime where there is doubling on the date. The first nine is pushed up slightly with a tiny bit of doubling at the bottom of it. The second nine is pushed up quite a bit and the three is up slightly. There is no other doubling on the dime at all. I've adjusted the contrast on the pics because I couldn't get good enough lighting on it to show the separations. My question is: Is this Die Deterioration?
That's interesting...it might be good first to see another 1993 dime to compare. I suspect MD or Die Deterioration, but I'm unsure...what do others think?
Seeing another 1993 really helps! Comparing the two, I notice the first date has much thinner strokes were the doubling or Die Deterioration is happening. There might be a few things happening here, including MD.
