This die was one of my discoveries, so when I saw one come up in this nice condition I just had to pick it. I only paid $6.50 for it so the price was right as well.

Do like what appears to be a die crack from U to O, (and on?).

Nice pickup! Was the coin listed as a DDR, or was it just a nice 1943 S that you were able to cherry pick? Awesome that you were able to get such a nice example of a variety you discovered!

Nice one for sure! Priced right and always neat to cherry-pick a variety you discovered!

Thanks all! It wasn't listed as a DDR, I cherrypicked it. But I always smile and realize it's worth the time to get things listed when I see one of mine either out in the wild or posted here by someone who found one. Lots more dies to find, so keep looking!
