Hi,

Is this just deterioration of the coin or could it be a repunched mint mark? Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

I am no means an expert , bút I see alot of flattenig due to circulation as well as a conviently placed hit during that journy.
Perhaps someone more knowlable than us will pitch in.

I thought it might be WRPM-001 but upon closer inspection, I don't think so, just looks like damage.
Also you didn't show a photo of the reverse which would be required to verify the markings.

Thanks all for the comments!

Here's a picture of the reverse and a couple more of the obverse. But it sounds like this is just damage.
