Found this nickel today with an S stamped on it. Haven't seen anything about errors and for this particular nickel. THOUGHTS please? And does the S also look weird to anyone else?

Pretty sure the lettering is messed up on back a few places, but I have some troubles telling damage from errors apparently lol.

My thoughts, the M in unum is different,(connected) the IR in pluribus is also connected, not to mention the weird mark over the US in it... and I also see slight doubling, along with what looks like a P stamped in Jeffersons head and amothwr faint P right above the S...

Any output would be appreciated still looking for that first real error!

Keep looking and keep asking, however from what I see, all that you mentioned is just damage on a well circulated coin. S is the mint mark for the San Francisco Mint...Good luck with your hunt...

Yes exactly, this all looks like pretty normal wear and tear from circulation.
