hey, y'all, it's me again. I have this '68 S and it almost looks as if there is a strikethrough. I don't have the ability to combine the images, so if someone could do that for me, that would be awesome. I have a camera coming in a couple of days, so hopefully, I'll be able to get better pics. This all started because the S looked funny to me!

All the 1968 cents looked like that on the motto as the master hub needed to be replaced, which happened in 1969:

No premium as all looked that way on all three mints.

Coop, I was actually thinking that I could see the profile of the bust on the reverse, hence the upside-down reverse pic.

Yes you could be seeing that, it's called design die transfer (if I remember correctly)
