2014 Cent Is This Doubling? - Coin Community Forum

rosebud New Member United States 41 Posts	Posted 08/26/2021 5:54 pm Hello. I'm trying to compare the example photo against my coin but I really don't know if mine is doubling or not. What exactly are the arrows pointing at? In other examples it seems like the doubling is level with the letters or numbers and machine doubled looks like the doubling would appear lower than the original date or letters? I know you get this question all the time but I'm struggling with understanding the differences. Report this Post to the Staff

Some collectors obviously seek them out which is perfectly fine for them. "Very strong doubling" is I think a very optimistic description of the OP's coin.
