Hello,
Anyone know what are these streaks are called in the empty section? Pretty common? I noticed a lot of these quarters have MD- but this one is surprisingly "crisp" compared to others.

Thanks guys. Finger feeders makes sense because its only in those blank areas called fields. Whereas die polish lines would not differentiate between the fields and the design elements. Is this right?

They are raised above the surface, however. Aren't the feeder fingers more like gouge marks?

Feeder Finger Damage happens to the die face as it strikes some part of the feeder finger. They will be raised on the coin and in the high points of the design like the fields
