@seap that looks more like corrosion than a lam to me, but I'm interested to see what others think.

That's some serious corrosion! Even so, coin looks like maybe EF-Details so while quite a thing to look at still has some value.

The damage is either terminal or a counterfeit coin. Move on to the next coin.

There may be a ghost image of Lincoln to the left of the original Lincoln? Then again, I did do hallucinogenics when I was young.

If it were real, then the coin would be a problem coin like a Cud. I'd pass on it. Not something you would be proud to own in your collection.

My first thought was that it is not a lam error (second also).
A caustic substance probably cause this, Some have indicated that it may be a fake, but I have no idea why someone would make a damaged one

If metal was removed, it would be under 3.11 grams.
