1996 D Quarter With A Shadow Foreign Object

Miss Italy21 Valued Member United States 163 Posts	Posted 09/26/2021 5:06 pm Hi All! I've got a 1996 quarter with a shadow between the "R" and "D" of Quarter Dollar. It looks like a baguette shape with a 7 or a letter inside of the elongated square shaped stamp? I've taken several pictures to enhance, but I'm not getting the best pic as I can see through the loupe. It's a bar shaped stamp with possibly the #7 inside? Doesn't really matter exactly what caused it as it couldn't have happened during the striking of the coin which is the only time an error can occur. Report this Post to the Staff
