I'm 99% sure I received mine yesterday as I don't know what else it could be or how this person got my address. I will be a good boy this year and wait till the 25th to open it. Now, if only I could make up my mind about what to send out!

I do believe that I have done that before, (not with my gift here as I have not yet gotten it) but I hope I can contain myself to get in the door.. (Yes, I did see your just kidding comment - just decided to ignore it for the moment)

My gift is on it's way across the Pond. The Christmas spirit is about giving, and I got lucky knowing exactly what what my charge wanted. I can't wait. He's going to be tickled pink, and that's a gift back to me.

Just wanted to give a headsup that I will be sending my gift once I get to the United States (I leave in two days), so the individual might receive their gift far quicker than if I was to ship it overseas.
Another side note, the address that I gave my SS is the overseas one, meaning that I won't see the gift till I return from the States, which should be around early January.
Sorry for the inconviences!

Dearborn - I am sorry for my actions - it was inexcusable, I participate in the Holiday Exchange each year hoping an individual will appreciate and enjoy the package I sent them.

Very big of you to apologize @colhand1, imagine how you would feel if someone got your gift and rather then saying thank you, immediately went to talking about getting rid of the coins you sent. It was a very nice and generous gift imo. Hopefully Dearborn accepts the apology but that's for him to decide. I'm sure no one wants to see negativity or name calling when we are all going out of are own pockets to try and put a smile on someone else's face. Some of us(including me) are on a really tight budget and send coins from our collections that we have aquired over time. I hope everyone can be happy and we can continue this event without any more negativity. I myself have been a little inspired by this and owe a few apologies to people, including another member on here.

Dearborn I collect Canadian paper and coins - I'm not familiar with all of the USA coinage - what is a 1995-W ASE?

There is no requirement to wait for the 25th.

So my package arrived a day or two ago and my fiance forgot to tell me. I will post pictures when I get a chance. I couldn't wait to open it and when I did, I must say my Santa went out of his/her way to find out exactly what I wanted they knew I was trying to get many earlier date Canadians 5c coins and he helped me do just that! Almost a full collection of 1922-1936 5cent coins as well as a 1920 silver nickel I don't think I'll ever finish the pre 22 set because of the 1921 but I needed the 1920 as well. He went even further and sent a couple very cool dinosaur coins/tokens for my son, as well as a 1965 coin with a lion. Either my secrete santa or is into maps or he loves skiing/snowboarding. I love skiing myself so it brought back some great and some funny memories. This was a truly amazing gift from Santa who definitely did some research. Thank you much I will post photos as soon as I get a chance. Thanks again and Merry Christmas.

Received my Secret Santa gift today from Mint_Marq, and all I can say is WOW! My gift is amazing! I received a metal 35MM slide box that just happens to be the perfect size for 2x2 flips! I would have never thought of this before! This box will hold up to 84 2x2s, absolutely perfect for safe storage and organizing coins outside of albums! I also received a bag of Canadian cents pulled from circulation in the Detroit (Michigan) area for me to search for varieties, PLUS a few spaces contained actual COINS such as a Wide AM 2000 cent, a Wide AM 1998 cent and a 1984-D RPM Kennedy half dollar! PLUS a huge supply of brand new 2x2s ready to use to fill this storage box! This Secret Santa took the time to search to see what I collected, and then sent me this amazing and very thoughtful gift! Thank you Mint_Marq, THANK YOU so much! I really appreciate this gift, and will most certainly will put it to good use! Thank you also to rggoodie for managing this endeavor. Many good wishes and prayers for you and Mrs. Clause. And thank you to the Coin Community Family for making this place so wonderful! God bless you all, and Merry Christmas!!!
