Well my good forum buddies obsessed with finding a few 67's. Don't jerk my chain, hit me with your best shot and if not, what's keeping it from making the grade. It's not a proof coin, there are imperfections.

Looks like as good a chance as any, depending on the amount of luster in hand.

Based on the pictures, this one might make it to 67.

i cant see anything on this coin that would preclude at least a MS67 grade unless the photos are not 100% accurate. in fact MS67+ would not surprise me. typically you would see some small ticks at least on the rims. I'm not seeing here. the strike is even across all devices on both sides and appears to be well centered. when you get above 66 these are the little things that make a difference.
the difference in price between 67 and 67+ is significant. PCGS is not showing any grades above that and only 43 coins at 67+

Post-war Lincolns are graded pretty strictly, but you're in the ballpark.
The obverse spotting and the tiny digs on the reverse probably reduce the chances of a "67+" designation.
I'm at 66+/67, luster dependent.

Thank you so much for the information. This is the small things I need to master, if there is such a thing! The TPG'S are professionals. To look at a coin for at most 30 seconds on each side the 20 seconds under a loupe amazes me. The surface of the coin seems to be like silk or satin. I carefully swirled it around at every angle to catch a hairline. I saw nothing. The graders must have some type of special light . A 75 or 100 watt lightbulb in a dark room is what I did. So many (color and marks I mean) 67 Lincolns look different from each other. When you are old like me I can't wait years to build up experience. This type of onfo helps me refine my search. Thanks so much

Quote: Are you going to send it to PCGS? I am currently going through several rolls and seperating the coins (if any) that seem to be absolutely mark free with great luster, great strike and 0 hairlines or hidden marks. (of course if they are hidden then I won't see them either) then maybe . I hope to use forum members to give me their opinion. then maybe. Is this one, a coin I should submit? Realize I will make the decision. I don't want any member to think they would be giving me bad advice.

I agree, MS-67. I can't tell from the photos if it would come in MS-67RB or MS-67RD. PCGS, in particular, has been picky about RB/RD lately.
Nice coin!
