gsp193 Pillar of the Community United States 975 Posts	Posted 02/01/2022 9:51 pm I have heard of re-engraved tail feathers but I was wondering if they re-engraved grooves on the feathers of the wings. I was also looking at the reverse design and the 1953 is not listed on Variety Vista as having the RDV-002 reverse if I understand it right. I think the RDV-002 listing must have just got left off the list but I do not know. The marks are on both wings but not the tail feathers that I can tell and look like small purposely placed die scratches. I could not find anything on added wing detail due to the poor strike quality only added tail feather detail. Report this Post to the Staff

I did not see any on the tail feathers on this one but the marks on the wings look hand tooled so I was just wondering if all of them had these marks engraved into the die Report this Post to the Staff

So when they mention re-engraved, the upper feathers were engraved, but on the fs-901, the tail feathers were RE-engraved.So it maybe a single die that they altered like that on the FS-901: Edited by coop 02/03/2022 3:26 pm Report this Post to the Staff
