Are the new quarters sold out or just backordered? The order page for all products read "Remind Me". But, don't recall seeing this message for any of the beginning quarter sets. I read where these were going to be popular. Any thoughts on this?

Temporarily unavailable is my guess. Until it says "sold out" there is always hope for more availability for stuff on back order.

Best thing to do is get on the mint's product enrollment (subscription) list so you can get your future coins in a more timely manner. I signed up for the new quarters a few weeks ago. My three roll PDS sets were shipped on the 7th and were received on the 9th. I'm a happy camper.

Thanks for your thoughts Westernsky, yeah I bought two sets of these and I did sign up for the subscription of the quarters (all styles). I was just curious as I had gone back to purchase another set.

Same here for me, the night before the sale started, my order was placed and I already have the PDS rolled quarters in hand

Received two 2022-D quarters in change yesterday. The new Washington portrait isn't bad but the Maya Angelou reverse is a big step down quality-wise compared to the 2021 "Crossing the Delaware" reverse. Kinda has a cartoonish look that reminds me of the golden Presidential dollars.

Can't all be winners, I suppose.

Same trouble for me. I think what happens is all the E-Bay dealers buy them up in bulk. Take a look at e-bay. Everyone is selling the quarters for twice as much as we shoulda bought from the Mint.

I like the new Maya Angelou design though. Nothing but P's here on the east coast. Is it against the rules here to propose a trade? Couple nice D's for a couple nice P's?

I received mine today. I like them over-all. Nice addition to my collection.

I think mattmcc is absolutely correct. This only hurts fellow collectors. It also seems as if the U.S. Mint could be part of this situation to artificially drive demand or perhaps they are still having a difficult time producing collector coins as well as circulating coins at the same time?
