1974 D Lincoln Cent PMD On R In Liberty?

Looks like the reverse die was replaced. Note the reverse is a different die state. (earlier) So the reverse may have had issues, that could not be fixed like the obverse die polishing. (I wonder it there was a Feeder Finger Damage issue with they previous reverse die and the obverse was rescued?)

They call the die marriages. When they are replaced they try to match them up with a similar die state die. (One that got broken up because of a die issue)

John while searching this coin in the forum before posting I believe I saw that this is a large date which I don't think is very easy to tell on this year but Abe's out of control hair and distinct facial features point to large. Also I think the lettering on the large date is a little thicker especially on Liberty unless the die has been over polished which can produce a "skinny" Y.
