This is a first for me! I found this 1989 P zinc (I weigh all of them just in case it's copper but no luck yet) and I really like the look of this coin. I am going to put it in a flip, not because I found a DDO or DDR, but I think it's a handsome Lincoln Cent. With the background crosshatch, the script stands out and the bust of Lincoln looks great. His coat has good detail, and the tie has to be seen to believe. The Reverse, while not as good looking, has detail in the script and what looks like a small round Die Chip on the left roofline. This coin would not receive a high MS grade, but it is worth keeping as far as I am concerned. Let me know your thoughts. Regards!
Well most know that I call them as I see them so . That is drop dead gorgeous with a strong sharp strike . You also have another die chip on reverse on the bottom right side of the D in UNITED . MS-66+RB .
Panzaldi unfortunately my field of view will not show the entire cent as I have explained before. The first 4 pics show the obverse and reverse. Regards.
T-BOP I did see the small Die Chip attached to the D in United. But in my excitement, I failed to include it in my descriptor of the coin. Thanks for calling it out. Regards.
