The other pictures make it appear to be a rpm to the north? Please correct me if I'm wrong - I'm wrong alot...Thank you for looking/chiming in... Report this Post to the Staff

Flowme911 Valued Member United States 98 Posts	Posted 04/14/2022 04:14 am I feel like I am seeing a rotated die, rotate by 30 degrees couterclockwise would line them up, the S mintmark would be over the E and part of the R of AMERICA if so, though those devices would be very weak...that is what I see, so probably RPM like you said lol Report this Post to the Staff

I gave the nickel a short acetone bath and afterwards felt like I suddenly saw some doubling on the obverse, maybe a rotated hub? Am I seeing things now? I think I see notches on the serif of the G in GOD and W in WE, and it was LIBERTY that first looked odd to me. And there's either a die chip or doubling on the star (I think).
