The final picture is angled to show what I think is a notch on the tail of the 'S'. The other pictures make it appear to be a rpm to the north? Please correct me if I'm wrong - I'm wrong alot...Thank you for looking/chiming in...

I feel like I am seeing a rotated die, rotate by 30 degrees couterclockwise would line them up, the S mintmark would be over the E and part of the R of AMERICA if so, though those devices would be very weak...that is what I see, so probably RPM like you said lol

This looks like a hit on the lower serif and MD going north.

I'm with @coinhi on this one. Rather than a RPM, this looks like MD to me.

Contact mark on the lower serif. A split serif it is like the last image, and that one is a RPM. But sometimes where they are too minor, they don't get listed.

Thank you for all your input, many thanks.

I gave the nickel a short acetone bath and afterwards felt like I suddenly saw some doubling on the obverse, maybe a rotated hub? Am I seeing things now? I think I see notches on the serif of the G in GOD and W in WE, and it was LIBERTY that first looked odd to me. And there's either a die chip or doubling on the star (I think).

More of a high bounce Machine Doubling issue. Note that the other devices are not affected as the others are. MD.
