Second, I agree with @jimmy, that the blurring of the letters up into the rim is a result of this coin being struck by a tired die rather than a doubled die. This isn't a mint error, but circulated examples of common date wheat cents are still worth 3-4x over face value. Not a plus for the coin as many as 54 % of that die run will look like that as the die ages: They do get even worse: Not a premium. Seniors don't premiums for their wrinkles, neither do coins.
