Quote: Just yesterday I discovered that a miscellaneous proof I have is actually an ornament from the back of a 50¢ fractional. @hokiefan_82 posted an example earlier and here is the proof. Fantastic!

It's been over a month since my last addition to my fractional currency collection, so I've been falling behind a bit... I just received this one today; my 2nd Justice fractional and 1st with a red back. I'm quite happy with this one - the surcharges on the back are nice and clear, the color is good, and the main grade-limiting issue I see is a bit of uneven margins on the front.

A couple of additions to my collection arrived today. April is the 1 year anniversary of starting my fractional note set, and I just crossed the one-third point towards completing my PMG registry complete set. Still a very long ways to go, as I've got most of the "easy" ones at this point. The climb is going to start getting steeper (and, more expensive ). The first is a Fessenden 25 cents third issue, Fr#1295. The lower border is a bit tight on the back, but other than that I was pleased with this one. The other is a Spinner 50 cents third issue, Fr#1326. The surcharges on the back are clear but maybe a little faint, but I was quite happy with the overall appearance.
