2021 D Roosevelt Dime Possible Die Chip

hewart Valued Member United States 157 Posts	Posted 05/02/2022 8:39 pm Time for another lesson. This is a 2021 dime with what I think is a die chip error. On the reverse just to the left of the torch, in the top leaf, there is a raised metal spot. Let me know what you think this is and thanks for the help. Report this Post to the Staff

(but die chips are not a premium, but a die event.) If this is damage, it is just a face value coin. Report this Post to the Staff

I'm just trying to understand the odd things I see on the coins and I usually hang on to those for reference. Let me see if I can get a better photo this morning and post it.
