Hello, I found this quarter today while going through my laundry coin rolls (found my first silver quarter as well!) and noticed this quarter has a copper like color. Is this considered an error or is this from something else? I took a picture of a standard quarter next to it for comparison. I haven't seen one like this before.

Thank you for any insight.

This would be an example of some light toning. May have sat on a dashboard or something similar for a little while.

I agree - just typical environmental toning any coin can undergo.

Interesting. I think I'll hold onto it as it's basically perfect toning on both sides and I don't see something like it often. Thank you for the quick feedback!
