@abe, first welcome to CCF. Second, while TRUST may have been lightly struck, I also think that there has been some mechanical damage in this area during circulation.

Pics are not real clear but it appears there was a die issue (possibly grease filled) and a lamination in the same area as TRUST. Also a slight broadstrike is apparent on the reverse although that is not in the same area.

When I see the first 'T' missing in 'TRUST', I am always a little suspicious, thinking either a Grease Filled Die, or a coin that may have been tampered with, but
when I see the whole word missing, I am much more inclined to consider the possibility of a Grease Filled Die.

In fact, with coin pictured, the '6' in the date is also faint, and so lends more evidence to support the postulation of a Grease Filled Die. Abe's effigy is also rather indistinct, when 'LIBERTY' and '19' and the mint mark are not.

Puts me more in mind of a thin or tapered planchet.

I think that's what #@sel 691 meant.

looks like a Grease Filled Die around the rim on the right side from about K-12 to K-4. Possible slight lamination where 'TRUST' should be. But I don't think that it is broad struck - the rim is too well formed. The reverse also looks weak in the same areas. As Makecents said - possible thinned planchet.
Can you post up an image of the side of the coin? along side a normal one for comparison?

Note the location on the reverse. Note the wheat stem on the right wheat stalk? Check the weight. If it is under weight, then it maybe a tapered planchet. If the weight is close to normal it maybe a Struck Through Grease. But the weight would be helpful to see what it is?
