I believe these are Cuds on this coin. Possibly I should submit them under the Cuds on coins website? On the Obverse, there is a Cud between the ty of Liberty and on the E of WE and the S of TRUST and on the Reverse, a Cud on the top of the C of Cents. Have I identified it correctly?

These are only die chips. A Die Cud is when the outside edge breaks off of the die:

Die Cuds are retirements for a die. On die chips they can go a lot longer striking coins with die chips on them. Not a premium for these. On a Cud there is usually a large premium.

They are Die Chips, a common occurrence that adds no value.

Coop, thank you for your quick reply, insight and thorough explanation! I do have one Cud registered with a similar size as these die chips yet it was more at the edge bleeding off the characters versus on the interior of the coin. Thanks! I'll simply grade the coin as it is recognizing the die chips are common.

Thanks also JimmyD. You both helped in expanding my understanding of this phenomenon and it's lack of value to the coin. Another question, doe it distract from the value of the coin reducing it's value, like it it's a MS-65 under the rest of the criteria, just for example?

If you were have it slabbed, (why spend $50 to get a grade on a common coin?) the grading companies don't dock the value for die chips and Machine Doubling. But to a collector, they would shy away from a problem coin. A true collector prefer to have a no problem coin. Newbies by anything and when they so to sell their jewels, they learn that they are face value coins. Then they are mad at us/sellers/collecting industry. They blame us, for their ignorance. Always ask questions. We will answer sometimes with information you don't want to hear. So before buying, know what your getting into before the purchase.
