Ancient Coin With Strange Patina

This is another coin from the uncleaned lot I got at an estate sale. Diameter is about 16 mm & weight is 3.1 grams. The second set of pictures are close to the true color. Does this coin have some sort of plating on it? I know the pictures aren't the best & detail is lacking on the obverse. Any ideas on identification?

Right - about that "uncleaned" part with regards to this coin...
That right there is just the result of harsh acid based cleaning with some oxide (?) layer being more resistant to the acid than the rest.

The lot had some coins that were fairly nice, a bunch of crusty discs, & some that were in between. Some of the crusty discs looked like they had been subjected to some questionable "cleaning" with a sharp object. This was the only one that looked like this.
