Seeing how, I already had my 2021's graded, I may do the same thing with this years issues too. (all of them - uncirc, proof, and Rev Proof) but not too sure yet - I'll decide when I se them.
My Morgan's have shipped from TX and are expected on Monday. Peace dollars processed a day later and have not yet shipped.
I am still trying to understand why the fulfilment centers are not near the mints. It cannot save the mint money to ship coins to TX to ship them out around the country.
I'm a little jealous of you all that got in on the uncirculated version. I am all set for the proof and RP versions, but opted out of this one. I think I am still ok with my decision, but it is fun to see everyone excited about this release! And great to see that there was not a huge chaotic web site overload with the mint.
UNC Peace dollars became available this early a.m. put 3 in cart went to pay rubbed my eyes and the thought flashed "thats a roll of 90% franklin halfs" I have enough of former but never the later. Still excited to see my one each come Monday.

The fulfillment centers are ran by contractors. Both facilities are centrally located in Memphis, TN and Irving, Tx and both are near major airport hubs and package transportation companies like FedEx, UPS and USPS. Logistics plays a huge role in getting these products to the customer in a timely and cost effective manner. Believe me they have crunched the numbers and taking the truckloads of products from the different minting facilities to the two contract facilities in the central part of the country makes the most sense.
My Morgans should be delivered on Saturday from the Irving facility My Peace dollars have been processed thru the Memphis facility and are on track for delivery on Monday. Both show acceptance and movement thru the USPS tracking website. Woohoo!

Curious, Dearborn, who do you grade with and how much do they charge for grading a newly issued Morgan or Peace dollar? I have never submitted a coin for grading. Thanks.
Well, I use PCGS, and I have vouchers for grading because I have top level subscription, so (and I'll have to check) but for me the grading will be about $20 dollars each, plus shipping and insurance. But I'll have to check - and the price may go up because I'll be asking to 'First Release' in the labels too.
EDIT:
OK since my coins are in the mail - I have 30 days to sent the coins to PCGS, I just filled out my request for submission. And I have 8 Vouchers - these I decided to save for my Silver American Eagle Proof to get graded with. So, not using the vouchers for my Morgan/Peace submission - here are my costs at PCGS: Grading is $17.00 Each First Strike label is $18.00 Each Handling Fee $10.00 Return Shipping $27.00
Total is $107.00 at is charged by PCGS Add my shipping and insurance costs to PCGS (which I don't know yet.)

You made the right decision at the time. At least you got the proofs! :)
