A US Mint Collector's Guide came in mail today. Page 8 is about the 2023 Morgan and Peace program. It says "The United States MInt is pleased to announce the return of these historic coins in 2023 as a new annual program." Proofs $73, UNC $67, RP set $175. It will be interesting to see how popular these are in coming years and if they continue. Since 2023 is the first proofs and reverse proofs I'm all in. Future years, I'll likely not buy. Page 9 in the guide is about ASE. The one oz ASE proof and UNC prices are the same as .858 oz Morgan/Peace. Prices subject to change.

I certainly need them to go along with my 2021 examples as a type set.

I still wish I could have had a 2022 Peace dollar.

I opted for both proofs since they are new, and the uncirc Peace since I only have one currently. And the rp set of course. But skipping the uncirc Morgan since I got 3 last year. I am not collecting anything on a yearly basis currently (not even ASE). A little surprised that the Mint is going forward with a yearly offering, I wonder if demand will stay high.

I enrolled for one each of the uncirculated Morgan and Peace dollars, and one each of the proof Morgan and Peace dollars, and also two of the Reverse Proof set. All confirmation emails have come back, and other than the enrollments page on their website being down over the weekend, there were no issues. All now show in my enrollments and as confirmed/shipped on my orders page. Now all I need do is sit back and update my credit card information in June 2023.

Little noticed with the Morgan and Peace dollars was the enrollments opened for the American Silver Eagles for 2023, so I signed up for all three enrollments for them as well.

I enrolled for 3 each but have never participated in the enrollment program before. Can I change quantity if I choose to only purchase 1 or 2? With the higher mintages I suspect after market prices will be soft.

I think it may be up until 3 daysbefore the on sale date that you have to change your enrollment quantities.

I was about to ask how someone can order something without knowing the price! Then I saw livingwater posted "Proofs $73, UNC $67, RP set $175." I don't see that on the mint website, though... anyone else have pricing info?

EDIT:

Those prices seem too low... the 2021 coins were $85! Does the higher mintage play a role in the pricing?

Prices subject to change. The Mint reserves the right to change prices. Likely have to wait til closer to release time

These prices are accurate per the mint catalogue. Mint might be dropping prices as silver is down 30+ % from last year.

Those have been the recent ASE prices.
